KernelCare Overview

Linux servers have to be rebooted quite often to prevent security issues that pop up in the kernel. Such reboots usually have to be done during off-hours, stressing sys admins. Not doing reboots can be catastrophic, and lead to serious security incidents. With KernelCare, security updates are applied automatically, to running system, without downtime – removing the need to reboot.

KernelCare loads patches using a special kernel module with no impact on system performance since those take only nanoseconds.

Installation is simple, and doesn’t require rebooting.

Supported OS: CentOS/RHEL 5, 6 and 7, CloudLinux 5 and 6, OpenVZ, Virtuozzo, PCS, Debian 6 and 7 and Ubuntu 14.04. Other kernels will follow.
